Richard will be playing Anton Chekhov in I TAKE YOUR HAND IN MINE at the Baby Grand Theatre, Kingston - NOVEMBER 12-22.
Richard recently completed performing in Ottawa in his solo show BOY BEATLE at the Irving Greenberg Theatre Centre (home of GCTC) April 9-13 and filming on the film Serenity Spa.

Boy Beatle is his second solo show His first, Strolling Player, was critically acclaimed and played in Canada, USA and the UK.

Richard trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and has had a long career working in theatre,TV and film all over the world. He was, until recently, the artistic director of The St Lawrence Shakespeare Festival.
In 2023 he directed A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM for the Festival.
Recent projects include the film MY SWEET AUSTRIAN HOLIDAY for Hallmark TV 2024... playing Henry Irving in THESE DEEDS at Theatre Kingston, PRESCOTT PANDEMIC TALES - and filming his solo show, STROLLING PLAYER
In 2022 he directed TWELFTH NIGHT and in 2019 he played the title role in CYRANO, both at SLSF. In 2018, he directed AS YOU LIKE IT for the Festival. He also directed A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM for The Chekhov Collective at The Citadel in Toronto, which opened in February 2018.
