RICHARD SHERIDAN WILLIS has recently completed his run of performances of his solo show BOY BEATLE -REDISCOVERY, BROTHERLY LOVE & RESILIENT HOPE
BOY BEATLE was at -The Baby Grand Theatre, Kingston, October 9th -19th
Boy Beatle is his second solo show His first, Strolling Player, was critically acclaimed and played in Canada, USA and the UK.
Richard trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and has had a long career working in theatre,TV and film all over the world.
He was until recently the artistic director of The St Lawrence Shakespeare Festival. In 2023 he directed A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM for the Festival. He is currently rehearsing his next solo play, BOY BEATLE which opens at the Baby Grand Theatre., Kingston, Ontario on October 9th.
Recent projects include the film A VIENNESE CHRISTMAS due out later this year... playing Henry Irving in THESE DEEDS at Theatre Kingston, PRESCOTT PANDEMIC TALES - and filming his solo show, STROLLING PLAYER
Last summer he directed TWELFTH NIGHT and in 2019 he played the title role in CYRANO, both at SLSF. In 2018, he directed AS YOU LIKE IT for the Festival. He also directed A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM for The Chekhov Collective at The Citadel in Toronto, which opened in February 2018.
